In addition to our exciting Intentional Play areas, there are so many new STEAM-based learning opportunities for your little ones here at the Galveston Children’s Museum all year round.

Held Every Thursday at 9am and1pm
Enjoy Coffee on us or bring snacks and Enjoy a fun Activity while socializing with other Moms of Galveston County.

March 10- Build an Aquifer from sand and dirt
March 17- Plant a Garden with Texas Native Seeds
March 24 – Explore nanoparticles by making smelly balloons
March 31 – Celebrate Solar Week

Bring your future female scientists and see what they create this month!
Spring Break Camps
Each day of Camp will present your child with challenges where they can explore, test, create and design
in the world of Science, all while having FUN!
Children will also have plenty of museum playtime as well as snacks and interacting with new friends.
Our topics will challenge all ages (4-10) and present None Stop Fun!
Our Single-day camps will run from 9 am – 3 pm
$50 per camper $45 for members

Crazy Wacky Art Time Camp
What else would you call art created with string, water guns, straws, paper towels, and very unconventional paintbrushes? This is a day of Wacky masterpieces!
Spring Ramp Challenge Camp
This camp will take our trials both indoors and out (weather permitting)
to create outstanding ramps, all the while, demonstrating
potential and kinetic energy
Bubble Camp
Lots and Lots of Bubbles will result from personalized solutions and wands.
We’ll start with bubble basics: bubble shape and durability
then create a wand fit for royalty.
Nothing but Legos Camp
Bring on the challenges! Legos with wheels, Lego Structures, Lego machines Endless Possibilities
