We offer themed camps throughout the year for children in Kindergarten through 5th Grade, with age-specific activities designed to meet them where they are—while keeping things fun and active!

2025 Summer Camp Schedule
Camps are divided into two age groups:

Kindergarten through 2nd Grade

3rd Grade through 5th Grade
Each group follows the same exciting weekly theme shown below, with activities tailored to their developmental level.

Camp Hours: 9 AM – 3 PM
Extend the day to 5 PM for $10/day.
All camps are held at the Galveston Children's Museum located at 2618 Broadway Street, Galveston, TX 77550

Registration is required; space is limited and fills quickly

A completed waiver and emergency contact info are required

Payment is due at time of registration
Refunds are not available, but credits can be applied toward future museum programs if canceled within a specified window.

From summer adventures to school-break programs, our camps give children exciting opportunities to learn, create, and explore through hands-on play.
Camps We Offer May Include:
Spring Break Camp – A full-week program filled with hands-on activities, themed learning, and creative exploration during Galveston ISD’s spring break
Teacher Work Day Camps – One-day camps full of hands-on play and discovery
Summer Camps – Week-long camps filled with hands-on STEM activities, creative projects, and interactive learning designed to keep children engaged all summer long.
Special Needs Camps – Inclusive camps that provide hands-on learning, creative activities, and sensory-friendly experiences in a welcoming, supportive environment.
Holiday Mini Camps – Special programming during Thanksgiving and winter breaks
Maker Day Workshops – Focused, project-based camps for curious creators
Winter Break Camp – Multi-day fun during the December holiday break
