Where is the museum located?

The Galveston Children’s Museum is located on the ground floor of the Moody Mansion, 2618 Broadway Galveston, TX.

What are your hours?

Tuesday-Saturday 9:30am-5:30pm

Sunday 12p,-5pm

Open Mondays during the summer months and school holidays

What is the age range for activities at the museum?

The exhibits target children ages 2-10, though many activities engage visitors of all ages. The museum offers occasional programming for ages 10-14.

Do you offer memberships?

Yes, we have annual family and individual memberships

Will you be in need of volunteers?

Absolutely! We will need enthusiastic volunteers for events and for special programs. For more information, please contact us via email: galvestonCM@gmail.com

Is the museum a non-profit?

Yes! Our non-profit status as a tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization was approved in 2014.

Where can I park?

Free parking is available in the gated parking lot next to the museum. Free street parking is also available.

Can I drop my child off for the day?

No, all children must be accompanied by adults at all times.

Can we bring in outside food to the museum?

Yes! You are more than welcome to bring outside food, we just ask that you refrain from eating in our exhibit areas. We have outdoor seating with picnic tables and umbrellas that you may use. We also have an indoor snack area that parents may use.
